Cooperation, Conflict & Comedy
In this 5-week laughter-filled course on improvisation, students will learn how playing with challenges can be fun. Improv skills teach us that there is more than one approach to life and that when we think like improv players, we can often find creative or comedic solutions to both funny and serious challenges.
Having a sense of humor about ourselves is a key to being a good improv player and comedy detective. Students will practice participating with fearlessness. They’ll learn how taking risks brings rewards, such as developing their comedy chops and reducing self-consciousness. Students will learn to see themselves, their lives, their dreams, and fears in a new light. Each class has a unique theme and details will be customized for each class, allowing students to choose where we will spend more time laughing and learning.
