Learning How to do Super Self-Tape Auditions!
Learn the technical aspects of self-tape auditions and techniques to help increase your callbacks & bookings!
Self-tapes are the “new normal”, but luckily for our teacher Amber Bohac, this isn’t a “new” concept. She has spent years perfecting the ideal self-tape and will share proven tips & tricks with you. She will help you learn to “Book the Room” even if during these times it’s a virtual casting office.
Students will be given critique and redirects (on performance/preparation/scene breakdown choices) on prepared scenes performed during class. The following week students will self-tape applying the redirects given.
During self-tape weeks technical notes will be given as needed. All tapes will be shown during class with more redirects given before students perform their scene again in a “live Zoom callback” setting. This gives them an excellent eye opening “fly on the wall of an audition” learning experience! Don’t miss out on this fun (& laughter) filled opportunity!
Teacher Bio:
Amber Bohac is still a kid at heart even after coaching for 8 years in the LA market & helping performers grow into their personalities for the past 15. As a child that grew up in the industry with supportive parents, she performed as an actor, dancer, singer, and more. This allows her to relate to her students on a more personal level while having fun right along with them! In addition to acting Amber understands the business side of the industry as well being a digital studio executive, on set coach, and stunt woman herself. Because of this she is a top recommended audition coach by many reputable LA, NY and ATL agents and managers and teaches with classhare.com
Over 100 success stories later and she still can’t help but get a warm fuzzy feeling when she sees clients on their way to success 🙂 She’s coached kids that have gone on to star opposite many Hollywood’s Oscar winning A-lister’s. Amber has coached her students to book their 1st credit on networks such as Nickelodeon, Disney, NBC, ABC, Freeform, CBS, etc. as well as many commercials for notable brands.
